FCBARCELONAç HISTORY FCBarcelona was born on 1899, a group of 20 years old men of Catalonia and others from other countries that lived in Barcelona decided to create a football team. The leader, Joan Gamper, was the person who boosted the project at the start and took the lead for creating an amazing project. The 22th of October of 1899 Gamper posted an ad in the magazine “El Deporte” making a call for everyone who wanted to take part in their football team. The 29th of november of 1899, Gamper and 11 international executives very famous arrived at the agreement of creating an association called FCBarcelona that was going to represent the catalan city. CAGA TIÓ The most credible legend explains that Caga Tió appeared in a house on a chimney in El Penedès (a town in Barcelona). The kids from the house took him, and Tío told them that if they gave a treasure to a homeless person, he was going to appear every Christmas to give them gifts. Children were usually sent to pray or sing Christmas carols in another room of the house to make him shit, but that custom has since changed, and now every Christmas, kids hit him with a cane. In many homes, it is customary that families feed him before going to sleep, and the next day there’s nothing on the plate. If you have fed it, it means that on Christmas Day he is going to poop.
